Hidden Does Not Always Mean Dishonest
Five Red Flags in a Very Cheap Quote
- Shipping is listed only as a “from” rate. There is no route, weight band, destination mix, or surcharge rule.
- The quote uses product weight, not final packed dimensions. Dimensional billing may change the result later.
- Free storage has no limit. The period, volume, SKU conditions, and aging rules are missing.
- There is no returns or exception fee card. Normal life contains exceptions. A quote pretending otherwise is not complete.
- The agreement says nothing about inventory removal. Leaving a provider can involve counting, picking, packing, palletizing, and outbound transportation.
Worked Example: Why a $1 Pick Fee Does Not Mean $1 Fulfillment

- 500 shipped orders per month
- Three active SKUs
- 1.3 units per order
- One compact parcel format
- Standard packaging
- Tracked international delivery
- A monthly warehouse minimum
