On May 26, at least 40 flights were canceled at Brasilia International Airport due to ongoing fuel shortages caused by a nationwide truck driver strike started on May 22. The Brazilian government has deployed military troops to reopen roads blocked by protesters in order to get fuel tankers to the airport.
