Notification for relevant regulations for delivery to Saudi Arabia via TWDHL

• Dear customers,

  Informed by TWDHL, as many express parcels to Saudi Arabia lack of necessary customs clearance documents, unable to complete the customs clearance normally, so that the express parcels were returned or destroyed forcibly.

  (A) The following items should get the SASO certificate
  • Mobile phones sets
  • Lap tops, PCs, Computer Monitors, I-Pads
  • Auto Spare Parts
  • Electrical Appliances (ACs, Refrigerators, Heaters, TVs, VCRs etc)
  • Electrical Sets (Circuit Breakers, Electrical Switches, Transformers etc.)
  Attention: SASO certificate should be obtained in provenance before express parcels sent.

  (B) The following items should get the approval of communication and information technology commission (CITC).
  • All Wireless Telecommunication equipment.
  • Wireless Computer and Networking sets
  • GPS equipment
  • Satellite Communication equipment
  • Receivers with Internet Support
  • Detection of Movement Equipment, Tanks Level Probing Radar Applications and Ancillary Equipment (Radio determination Applications)
  • Fibre Optics Equipment
  • Voice over IP Equipment ( Private usage only )
  • General IT Equipment
  Attention: please make sure whether the recipient is qualified of CITC import before the express parcels sent.

  The sender must inform the recipient to check the local customs related import restrictions and regulations, make sure before send parcels to ensure that the recipient has the capability of customs clearance and have got the related import documents, if the items or materials along with the items failed to comply with local customs regulation, the items is likely to be returned or destroyed forcibly by the local customs, all customs clearance delays and costs incurred shall be borne by the sender.
