  Please take note of the following advice from respective postal administration :

  There are general strike all over the world, together with the severe weather, please be prepared for further flight disruptions as well as delays in parcel processing and delivery.

  Postal services resume after IT disruption—Germany.

  On April 20, Deutsche Post AG informed that postal services resumed after the IT system disruption affecting electronic data interchange (EDI) transmissions. The disruption started on April 19 at 10:00 local time.

  Storm causes disruption in Moscow-- Moscow, Russia.

  Media sources reported rail, road and flight disruptions following a severe storm in Moscow since April 21. The area was hit by a thunderstorm accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain on April 21 and April 22. At least one person has been killed and 17 others have been injured. Floods and flight delays were reported, however no specific information on the affected areas has been reported so far. The severe weather was set to intensify and reach its peak in the early hours of Sunday, April 22.

  Flight disruptions continue in Paris Airport-- Paris, France.

  On April 24, disruptions to flight operations at Charles de Gaulle Airport continue due to strike. At least 16 flights have been canceled and an additional two flights have been delayed for April 24. On April 23, at least 30 flights were canceled. The disruptions are being caused by a 48-hour strike action by Air France workers.

  Barcelona air traffic controllers will go on strike-- Barcelona, Spain.

  On April 23, media sources reported that air traffic controllers at Barcelona El Prat Airport are staging a series of 24-hour strikes starting on June 20. Workers claim for an increase in the number of employees. Specific dates on which strikes will take place have not been chosen at this time. No further information on when the strike would end has been provided so far.

  Winter weather causes disruptions in Beijing-- Beijing, China.

  On April 21, media sources reported flight disruptions at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) due to severe winter weather. Around 100 flights were canceled and more than 300 flights have been delayed. No further information on when the disruptions would end was provided.

  Postal services resume in Morocco—Morocco.

  On April 24, Poste Maroc informed that postal services resumed after technical difficulties in replicating the electronic data for postal parcels and express mail from its domestic IT system to IPS have been resolved. Poste Maroc experienced postal disruptions due to technical difficulties since March 21, 2018.

  Technical issues disrupt postal services-- El Salvador.

  On April 24, Correos de El Salvador informed that it is experiencing technical difficulties with its IT system. Postal disruptions are said to be expected. No time frame on when the situation would normalize has been provided so far.

  Disruptions expected due to weather warnings—Thailand.

  On April 23, governmental sources issued weather warnings of thunderstorms, strong winds and heavy rain across Thailand on April 24-27. Thailand’s northeast region is likely to be the most affected. Precedents indicate that heavy rain normally causes significant traffic congestions in Bangkok. Flight cancellations and delays are expected at airports, including Don Mueang Airport (DMK) and Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok.

  Taipei Airport to close at night for a year—Taiwan.

  The Taipei Songshan Airport will close at night from 20 June for one year due to repairs and an expansion of the runway, according to media sources. The closure is expected to affect international flights, which will be diverted to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. The Taipei Songshan Airport is the second largest airport in Taipei.
