Notification for Register of the Hong Kong Postal HKBRAM can send metal products

• Dear customer,

  HKBRAM can accept metal products again!

  Since early September, Hong Kong post perform strict security standards and metal products are listed in the embargo, lead to Hong Kong post cargo collapse, now the airmail centre manpower, equipment resource appears lots idle. See from the registered shipment data recently, it is very fast and can left port within two days.

  Hong Kong post in order to save some loss of cargo, except battery, liquid, powder, inflammable and explosive dangerous goods still cannot mail, take the relatively loose security standards to registered mail , can accept metal products. But all the small parcel containing metal products, must attach one delivery statement (see attachment), once the X-ray inspection found that the metal products, Hong Kong post can do the unpacking check according to the statement, if not attach the statement, that means the customer did not authorize Hong Kong postal unpacking check, then the parcel will be return directly, and the freight will not be refunded.

  Kindly remind:

  (A) Only registered mail can accept the non- battery metal products, ordinary mail still cannot accept metal products.

  (B) For X-ray inspection, if the image looks like the battery products also cannot send, because it is most likely be returned, this kind of product including but not limited to: circuit boards, alkaline batteries, chargers, electronic sphygmomanometer, shaver, electronic weather time meter, electronic thermometer, products looks like smart phone and button batteries metal products.
