  The EMS operator of Ukraine, the State Enterprise of Special Post, has advised that due to the current situation in the east of Ukraine, there are difficulties in delivering Speedpost EMS items to addressees residing in Denetsk and Luhansk. Service delay is expected for Speedpost EMS items addressed to residents of Denetsk (postal codes in the range of 83000-87999) and Luhansk (postal codes in the range of 91000-94999). Please be prepared for delays in mail processing and delivery in the affected areas.

  As advised by the postal administration of the United Arab Emirates, all mail delivery services (including Speedpost) will subject to delay during the public holidays from 27 to 31 July 2014. All services will be resumed on 1 August 2014.

  Two fast-moving wildfires in California have forced the evacuation of hundreds of people, US officials say. In the Sacramento region, a fire has spread to cover an area of about 4,000 acres, while another blaze threatens homes around Yosemite National Park. The Sacramento fire has doubled in size since it broke out on Friday afternoon. About 515 homes were evacuated. In the Yosemite region, evacuations are reported to have been ordered in Foresta. The fire could grow again as firefighters brace for high winds and temperatures. Please be prepared for delays in mail processing and delivery in the affected areas.
