Notification for EUEXP, RM1, RM1R, UKFREIGHT VAT Threshold Adjust

• Informed by the UK Customs, VAT threshold from the current 18GBP reduced to 15GBP. The customer objects within the declared value of parcels over 15 GBP, it will begin levying VAT, VAT tax rate remains at 20%.
   
  The EUEXP, RM1, RM1R, UKFREIGHT four kinds of freight, the VAT threshold will adjust to 15GBP.
  1. The declared value equal to 15GBP or less than 15GBP, no need charge VAT
  2. The declared value more than 15GBP, need charge VAT, 20% of declared value. For example, the declared value is 20GBP, VAT=20GBP * 20%= 4GBP
  3. The declared value more than 135GBP, not only VAT but also will be charge tariff. Whether will be charge tariff and tariff quota depends on the item sent by customers and the relevant policies of regulations customs.
