Problems concerning the sated value of the packages are told by our couriers increase recently. For friendly advise, please note that when you fill in the stated value in the order for your packages, if the stated value is too high and reach the standard of tax collection of the destination countries, then consignees will need to pay the tax or if consignees refuse to pay, then sender may need to pay on behalf of the consignees. On the other hand, if the stated value is too low and once the destination customs find out during the customs clearance and/or inspection, penalty duty will be occurred or can not get the reasonable compensation (the real value of the goods) if the packages are lost. What's more, all shipping methods generally compensate the lost packages according to the stated value and different shipping methods have different maximum compensations..
