Notification for Latest Kuwait customs clearance requirement

• Dear customer,

  Informed by Kuwait customs, the clearance requirement as follows:

  All the cargo sent to Kuwait must meet the following requirements:

  1. If the declared value less than or equal to 1500USD, and weighing less than 100kg, need to provide copy of commercial invoice (for color printing).

  2. If the declared value more than or equal to 1501USD, less than 2999USD, and weighing less than 100kg, need to provide original commercial invoice.

  3. If the declared value more than or equal to 3000USD regardless of weight, and weight more than or equal to 100kg regardless of declared value, need to provide origin commercial invoice and certificate of origin.

  All the cargo sent to Kuwait, customs require the invoice must include the following:

  1. Use the notepaper which take sender as invoice title and computer print.

  2. The invoice must contain the sender and receiver detailed full address, contact person and telephone. Each item must have detailed commodity description, HS code, quantity (weight), the unit price, monetary unit and total value, also need fill the CIF value, gross weight and country of origin.

  3. The Invoice information must be filled in English, cannot appear Chinese characters, do not accept zero declare, do not accept "only for customs declaration" characters.

  4. The invoice must be with the invoice number and must be signed and sealed.
